Aden Adde Airport in Mogadishu, where some of the people who were injured in the bombing of the Hayat Hotel and mortars thrown in Mogadishu were taken out today.

The Minister of Health and Human Services of the Federal Government of Somalia Dr Ali Haji Adan and members of the Prime Minister’s Office said goodbye at the airport.

The injured numbering 7 people were taken to our brotherly country of Saudi Arabia where they will be treated for their medical condition as these cases were very serious and needed to receive medical treatment abroad.

The Saudi government took the role of the rescue and there was the Saudi ambassador at Aden Adde Airport, Also staff from the embassy and members from Saudi Arabia who were carrying the wounded. The injured were all injured in Mogadishu, and there are other injuries brought from Baladweyne, some of whom are in serious condition the Ministry of Health and Human Services is making efforts to take the remaining injuries as soon as possible.

The Minister of Health of the Federal Government of Somalia, Dr Ali Haji Adan, thanked the Saudi Government for its assistance and the role it plays in helping the Somali people.
